Annotated Bibliography Assignment Sheet Like any bibliography, an annotated bibliography is an alphabetical list of research sources. In addition to bibliographic data, an annotated bibliography provides a concise summary of each source and some assessment of its value or relevance. This assignment is the basis of your final essay for this class. Instructions 1. Find 5 sources related to the to ONE of these topics: ● Education in Canada ● Immigration to Canada ● Education in your home country 2. Decide what specific sub-topic you want to investigate (a subset of the topics in item 1 above_ 3. Use the UCW library to find 5 articles about the same sub-topic. 4. Select at least 5 sources (books/articles). At least 3 of the articles must be academic/scholarly. 2 of the 5 sources may be popular (not academic) 5. Write brief annotations of the 5 sources. 6. Format the annotations in APA style. They should be in alphabetical order by first author’s last name. 7. See the presentation of Week 4 for details. This Assignment is worth 20% of your final grade. The Assignment needs to be submitted via the MyUCW portal no later than November 12. There is a deduction of 10% for each day late.
